Cocktails That Are Still Good for You During the Holidays!

For many of us, the holidays wouldn't be complete without a festive gathering and appropriate libations. The problem is that most of these beverages are high in fat and sugar, and the calories may add up when you add in the food you'll be eating simultaneously.

For those who don't want to miss out on Christmas happiness, there are plenty of low-calorie holiday drinks to choose from! Fortunately, Mitchell has come up with a few festive concoctions that you may still partake in this season.


Gin Gimlet


Cucumbers may be infused in gin to create a refreshing and flavorful cucumber gimlet. There are no complicated steps involved in making this dish. Gin and lime cordial are combined in equal parts to make a Gimlet. Replace the cordial with fresh lime and a simple stevia syrup to reduce sugar content.


Ingredients: cucumber-infused 1.5oz water Tanqueray 1 ounce of lime juice that has been freshly squeezed 0.5 ounces simple syrup of stevia Lime wheel garnished with a fresh lime In a shaker tin, build. Serve in a chilled coupe glass after shaking ingredients.


Canela Margarita




According to research, cinnamon may help decrease blood sugar by reducing insulin resistance. The Canela Margarita is a Christmas favorite, and this low-carb, sugar-free version is sure to please. Since tequila has a high alcohol level for its low carbohydrate content, a little goes a long way.


Ingredients: a shot of organic Blanco tequila from Tres Agaves, More than half-a-gallon 75 ounces of limeade a little bit of Orange Bitters. In a shaker tin, build. Drink straight up or over ice; no need to stir or strain after you've mixed everything. Agave nectar and boiling water are all that is needed to produce syrup.


Kir Royale


This is another traditional drink. Sparkling wine with Cassis makes a delicious cocktail. Because sparkling wines have a lot of residual sugar, seek labels that state dry, sec, or brut on the bottles to keep sugar levels low. Thomas &'' Scott's Skinny Prosecco is an excellent low-sugar choice for this cocktail.


Ingredients: Creme de Cassis: 1-2 tbsp. Per serving, Driest Sparkling wine should be poured on top; Blackberry, raspberry, or pomegranate can be used as a garnish. Ensure the sparkling wine and the champagne flute are very cold before serving. Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds and top with creme de Cassis. Serve immediately with a splash of sparkling wine on top.


Ottos Spritzer




Try a lower-sugar fortified wine if you want something more straightforward. Yzaguirre Vermouth, Lillet, or Otto's Athens Vermouth are some cool botanical, herbaceous vermouths. Try Ketel One Botanical if you're looking for something a little different. Wine experts at your local wine shop can also assist you in selecting a bottle of dry sherry or port.


Try this spritzer for a refreshing lift: Ingredients: A measure of Athens Vermouth by Otto, 2.5 ounces 3 ounces of Seltzer-flavored water Peel from a lemon or an orange. Stir in 2.5 ounces of Otto's, then top with soda water and add a lemon or lime peel for a festive touch. Serve with tonic or plain ice as an option.


Cranberry Spritz Punch


To add a little more flavor to your Ketel One Vodka without infusing the entire bottle, we have an affordable, pleasant infused punch that uses Stevia, a zero-calorie sweetener instead of sugar, to add flavor: Ingredients: Cranberries: 4 cups of fresh cranberries a half cup of booze One-fourth cup sweetener More for decoration can be added to the six rosemary sprigs.


A blender with four cups of fresh cranberries and two cups of water is all that is needed to make this drink. High-speed blending is required to get a smooth, pureed consistency. Allow the mixture to infuse for at least one night.


Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup stevia, 1.5 cups of water, and 6 sprigs of fresh rosemary. Bring to a boil and cook until the Stevia has completely disintegrated. Please turn off the heat and wait for it to cool down completely. Remove and discard rosemary sprigs. Put 1 cup of vodka and the discarded pulp back in the blender. To produce three cups of liquid, combine the vodka and the gathered juice in a blender and process until smooth. Next, add the cooled rosemary syrup and mix well.


Eggless Avocado Nog
